Emmett’s story is one of resilience, love, and the power of community. Rescued by Roadogs Rescue in March 2024, Emmett arrived emaciated and neglected, but he quickly captured the hearts of everyone who followed his journey. Fostered by Jack and Cailee, they documented his healing process and shared it online. What started as a simple rescue story quickly went viral, and the internet fell in love with Good Boy Emmett. As a result of neglect prior to rescue,Emmett suffered extreme breathing problems, ultimately requiring an emergency tracheostomy. Thanks to an outpouring of support from his online family, funds were raised to save his life. Today, Emmett is thriving, surrounded by his loving parents and his hairless cat sister and fellow rescue, Freya. Emmett’s journey is a testament to the difference that love, community, and a little bit of hope can make.
